Presto Pesto

Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, peeled
  • 1/2 cup pine nuts
  • 1/3 cup Parmesan cheese
  • a squeeze of fresh lemon juice
  • salt, to taste


Directions

Roast garlic cloves and pine nuts on a baking sheet in a preheated 375 F oven for about 5 minutes. Put all the ingredients in a food processor (or blender), and presto - PESTO!
