Homemade Pasta Blend

This homemade pasta blend recipe creates a delicious herb and spice blend perfect for use as a pasta topping. Once you try this recipe it will quickly become your go-to pasta seasoning.

This is another way to compile your dry seasonings into a tasty combination. Besides pasta, you can use this seasoning combination on a variety of other foods. We have used this with chicken recipes as well to give it a little Italian zest.





Use this mix to enhance the flavor of your favorite pasta sauce, or let the flavors of these aromatic herbs take center stage. Just boil your favorite pasta shape, toss the noodles in a little butter or olive oil and top with your homemade pasta herb blend and a little freshly grated Parmesan cheese for a simple meal that is sure to please.

You can very easily multiply this recipe to make as much or as little as you need. Make it as you need it, or make a big batch so you will always have it on hand.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tablespoons dried basil
  • 1 Tablespoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced garlic


Preparation:

Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container for up to six months.
