Some of the signs that the stress in your life has gotten out of control include feeling as if your heart will pound right out of your chest even without doing anything physical. Your muscles may feel stiff and sore all the time, your mouth dry up, and you begin to sweat heavily. Tension can also result in an upset stomach and hyperventilating. Finally many people report having difficulty with concentrating, over or under eating, and overwhelming feelings of doom.
The longer a person has anxiety the more harmful it becomes to your entire body, particularly your immune system. People with high stress levels get sick more often, or stay ill longer, as a result. However, over-the-counter medications may not help, and some have side effects that make matters worse. This is where herbal remedies for anxiety come in handy.

This hits your liver and creates the energy to either run or battle. However, modern decorum dictates that it’s usually a bad idea to run away from work or haul off and hit a co-worker. Pushing down those instincts causes muscle tension. It can also result in a nasty headache and elevated blood pressure.
